About a week or so ago, I went on my first "Man-Date", a coin popularized by the movie "I Love You Man" which describes an outing by two heterosexual mans similar to a romantic date. The guy I went out with (for right now, we'll call him "Steve") I actually met via a Craigslist transaction just prior to our Man-Date. I bought a piece of Ikea furniture off of Craigslist from Steve's wife but she wouldn't be able to meet me to pick it up. At the apartment, Steve greeted me and we made small talk about music, video games, and our grievances with Baton Rouge.
Instantly we clicked. I made a friend. And then we went out and had drinks and told stories about girls, jokes and of life.
