I saw this on The Smoking Section a few days ago and I overlooked it until a few of my followers on Twitter keep shouting out some of the songs. After I d/l'ed it and gave it a listen, I was hooked (pun intended). Featurning production from No I.D. and work from Steve Wyreman, Rob Kinelski, Kevin Randolph, James Fauntleroy, Makeba and & Common.
Not only is it the beginning of my addiction to James Fauntleroy's music, but its also the early leader for the soundtrack of 2011 summer nights. My biggest complaints about the project is that its too short and that there isn't enough Common. I totally get the point of all the crack allusions in the band name and packaging besides the name: once you listen, you'll want to hear more.
Try a little bit and see..
And if you like that, you can always get more from No I.D.'s blog
