NASA (Kanye West, Santogold & Lykke Li) - Gifted

    

I don't know why I didn't know of this Santogold, Lykke Li & Kanye West collaboration from 2009? God, how much music did I miss out on from that year?

Santogold's eponymous debut is EASILY one of my favorite cds of the last three years. After one of the longest droughts in musical history, African Americans reclaim a place within American Alternative music. This cd is a mix of club bass, contemporary rock and hip-hop. And now that Santigold (she was forced to change her name in a lawsuit last year) is with RocNation so expect more samples of this cd from rappers (*cough* Kanye West *cough* ) to come.
